THE HAMILTON CARDINALS RESIGN RELIEF PITCHER JACOB GAJIC FOR THE 2025 SEASON

The Hamilton Cardinals are excited to announce the re-signing of left-handed relief pitcher Jacob Gajic for the 2025 season.

A native of Hamilton, Ontario, and a graduate of Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School, Gajic brings a strong mix of IBL and NCAA collegiate experience to the Cardinals bullpen.

Gajic spent his first three collegiate seasons at Northwest Missouri State, an NCAA Division II program competing in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA). Over that span, he made 66 appearances, posting a 4.00 ERA across 139.1 innings, with a 9.8 K/9 and 17 saves.

For his senior year, Gajic transferred to Minnesota State University, an NCAA Division II program competing in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). This past season, he appeared in 18 games, pitched 27.2 innings, held a 2.60 ERA, and earned a 3-0 record.

Now entering his fourth season with the Hamilton Cardinals, Gajic previously pitched in relief for the team in 2021, 2022, and 2024. Last season, in 14.0 innings, Gajic recorded a 2.57 ERA and an impressive 12.2 K/9.
