Cardinals Win 11-3 In Toronto

TORONTO – Hamilton hitters hit four home runs in an 11-3 win in Toronto on Saturday night. 

Brandon Nicoll, Jaden Brown and Jommer Hernandez all homered and drove in two for the Cardinals (19-18). Tanner Rempel belted a solo home run.  

Nicolas Velocci went 2-for-5 with two RBI, and Yolki Pena added an RBI double.  

Caleb Seroski (2-0) struck out six in three scoreless innings of relief to earn the win. Corben Peters started and went three innings, giving up three runs on two hits with five walks and three punchouts.

Spenser Ross went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Maple Leafs (16-23). Ryan Dos Santos and Mike Cecchetto each had an RBI. 

Adam Jafine (0-5) took the loss after yielding four runs (two earned) on six hits over four innings. He walked five and struck out seven.
